Caryn Samuell has officially retired from teach any classes. After 27 years of mentoring aspiring glass artists from all over the world, Caryn has decided to use her creative energies for her own artwork. Caryn Samuell would like to thank all of her former students for their love. their creativity, and their perseverence.
Stained Glass Classes - Instructor Caryn Samuell.
Well over 25 years of teaching experience, Caryn is a patient and caring instructor. Teaching all levels of stained glass, fusing, sandblast etching, jewelry making, design, Caryn makes the classes fun, educational (of course) and interesting.
Several of Caryn’s former students are now professional glass artists with studios and galleries of their own.

Stained Glass Beginners Class:
$250 Beginners learn to build a stained glass window from a selection of patterns. Tools are provided, materials are extra. Class is held for 3 hours once a week for 4 weeks. Students learn to make a pattern, cut and fit glass, foil, solder, frame, and clean/polish their project. Sign up for Beginner Stained Glass here.
After taking the more structured Beginner class, students may advance to the intermediate level.
Stained Glass Intermediate class:
$250 Students usually provide their own hand tools at this point. Projects are only limited by the student’s skill level. Students use the Intermediate class to hone their skills and refine their techniques. Class is held for 3 hours once a week for six weeks. Advanced stained glass class:
$250 Advanced students provide their own hand tools and are encouraged by Caryn to explore their abilities and stretch their talents. Students may work on anything they wish. Three hours once a week for six weeks. This class has, for the time being, been combined with Intermediate.
Glass Fusing Class:
$295 All materials and tools provided. One day class held at Glass Workshop in Cummaquid, MA. Students learn basics of fusing and make many items of gorgeous jewelry while they learn the techniques. Three kilns allow for several firings and experience with different equipment. Some sandblasting may be taught as well. One overnight firing of the kiln will require a return for an hour the next day.
